One of the great mysteries of life on the BHO for many people is uploading photos to their BHO Home Page, and using those photos elsewhere. In the years that I've been a member, several topics keep coming up, and various members, including me, have responded with instructions. But reading how-to is one thing, actually seeing how-to, step-by-step, is another. So on this page, you'll find links to several animated demos where you can actually watch and listen, as step-by-step, I walk you thru how to:

• Upload photos to your BHO home page and create different photo albums
• Show photos from your BHO home page album(s) in blog posts
• Show photos from your BHO home page album(s) in forum posts

What you need to watch the demos on line

• A late-model web browser: Firefox 1.5 or higher, Internet Explorer 6 or higher, Safari, or Opera.
• The free Flash Player 6.0 or higher, free from Adobe.
• A moderately fast internet connection - ADSL or faster. I have posted 2 versions of each demo, one for slower connections and one for faster connections. Image and sound quality are better in the version for faster connections. The version for slower connections may still work over a dial-up connection, but it will be slow.
• Disable popup blocking (maybe). If you have strong popup blocking that disallows popup windows that display when you click a link, you'll need to temporarily allow them.

About Downloads

You can also download the demos as executable programs for Windows and Mac. This is probably the best option for folks with really slow connections. BUT...this is experimental! I've never used the export-to-executable feature of my production software, so I don't know for sure that it works reliably. The Windows version works on my 2 PCs with Windows 2K and XP. I can't test the Mac version 'cause I don't have one! The download files are zipped so you will need a program like 7-Zip or WinZip to extract the contents to your hard drive before you can run them.
